The work consisted of five large resin spheres over a metre in height, each resting on different axis and “scattered” across the marble floor in the lobby of One Canada Square.
Bundles of everyday objects, bound together with yards of cloth presented us with a few moulding and casting challenges. Reproducing the highly detailed and deeply undercut surfaces and strengthening the fragility of the life-like resin casts which sat directly on the floor. The varying positions create a sense of flowing movement across the space and each one the same… but different.
